Wise A*s, Dumb A*s

Well, just like to warn you guys: this upcoming post is a frustrated, freestyle and sponataneous post. Of course, I already know the answers to some of the questions i've posted. But I just want to ask for the sake of asking. I'm really just stressed out from all the things i've been doing, and I admit I HATE WHAT I DO EVERYDAY. Who'd be loving boring stuff such as environment and all those sh*zz when there's Facebook, Basketball, and DotA? Don't give me names, I already know. But I do know its not me. Anyways, here's my newest post. Enjoy or barf it up :P

Well, first of all, i'd just like to thank people who visit my site. I know I haven't been able to write here in the past couple of weeks, so my apologies. I'm sorry, I just got caught up in a wave of academic sh*t, and mind you, academic sh*t stinks. Well, the truth is, I could have posted something, anything, during the past couple of weeks. But I opted not to. Why? Because i'm very much reluctant to post half-as*ed posts, meaning, posts that I cannot fully put my heart into. Why can't I put all of my heart into posting? 'Coz i'm pre-occupied by so many academic sh*t that I dunno why the hell i'm being a slave of. I should just be wading off or jerking off somewhere, but here I am, doing lotsa paper works and research for things i'm not really interested. I'm wasting my youth trying to become an adult, and in the end, i'm becoming a frustrated chump. I got so many dreams. I want to become a Basketball player, pursue a career in DotA, and yet I always find myself stuck in a room with four corners, listening to worse-than-bedtime stories type of lectures day-by-day. Sometimes, I find myself asking this question: Why the heck are we researching about problems which we did not bring upon ourselves? I mean, issues about corruption, nature, environment, and all those sh*zz, aren't they brought upon by companies and other big conglomerates? True, some normal everyday life citizens are to blame, but a huge chunk of those problems are caused by those friggin' companies. So why the hell are we cutting their slack and doing all these problem solving work? 'Coz they pay us wages? Yeah, right, but aren't they the same jerks who cheat us off our money everyday? I mean, everything in this Earth is supposed to be ours, for free, yet they monopolize it. And in return, we got to pay for things that are supposedly free. Now, they caused this whole environmental global warming mess, and we still got to clean their spill? You know what's worse? I'm only a student, and yet I got to research about this whole b*llshit. I don't get paid, and I don't like what I do. So what should I do? Profs would always say, you need to play a part in the society, blah blah. Yeah, I'll play a part alright, but not as an environmentalist or some bull. I want to play the role of a Basketball Player, a DotA gamer, not some activist bull. I mean, no offense to those who are environmentalists and activists. What you do is a noble job, its just that I cannot understand and I refuse to understand why the hell is that the role I have to play in this society. I'm 19, turning to 20, and I already have the burden of the whole world. You might say, that's easy for me to say, 'coz my stomach is filled and my life is abundant. Yeah, but one thing I never did was to steal, I never got what I have by taking it at the expense of others. Talk about swindlers, corruptors and the corrupted, snatchers and hold-uppers. Sucks to be me. I live a honest and almost righteous life yet I live like I have sinned the whole world, as I live everyday of my life looking for the answer to redemption and salvation. Sucks to be me. :P

Our prof once said in our class that checking our test and assignment papers aren't counted in their salary. I don't hate our prof, in fact, I feel mutual. He's a nice guy, made us do a lot of stuff and work, but I believe its still to the point that its reasonable. Anyways, I pondered about that statement, and I thought of something. In relation to that point, I'd also say that: How about us? Reviewing for exams and making our assignments doesn't also count in our school hours, doesn't it? So I came up with a conclusion: remove the friggin' tests and assignments. The hell, why do we need to work overtime?! Just friggin' remove it and our lives would be friggin' easier.

Years ago, heroes fought for the independence of our motherland. They hoped that their descendants would live a happy and prosperous life away from the influences of foreign lands. Years later, I believe everything stays the same. Why? Look at where we are now. We are nothing but dogs of developed nations. Look at USA, the hell we work to solve the problem that they caused us, and you know what? A lot of people have found a way to delay global warming, and that is by the Kyoto Protocol wherein Carbon Emissions and all those other shi*z are discussed and found a way to be reduced. But what does the US do, reject the membership! Cool! Here we are, saying the solution to the problem, and the f*ck they don't cooperate! Why? 'Coz their afraid that other countries will get ahead of them, their economy will drop, people will get laid off, etc. etc. THE HELL DO I CARE! Its not our problem in the first place! The hell, and where does the majority of the load go? No where but to us, the developing countries! Isn't it ironic? It is our country that was torn and robbed in the World War. It is our country which had its pride stripped, torn, taken away, and stepped upon. It is our country whose women were enslaved and raped. And yet here we are once again, serving our masters and licking their d*cks, all the while while rock and rap stars wad their money off o' ho*s. All the while while celebs play with their Playboy bunnies. WTF! The hell do I care about your country getting poor when ours couldn't possibly get any poorer! The hell do I care about your workers getting laid off when our workers can't even have something to bite on! In the end, the situation remains the same. The cancer is still alive, worse than ever.

Well, I dunno if this idea was already expressed by other people before. What I do know is that it all came from my mind. Like I said, I was just being spontaneous, my stock knowledge just popped out. The hell, this is my blog, and I don't need no citations. Plato, Socrates, and Aristotle didn't need to cite any sources, did they? I also find it strange, WTF do I need to cite sources in my papers? F*ck them restricting my creativity. Tss. Does it mean i'm stupid so I need to cite my sources? Sucks to be me, then. Hahaha! I won't cite no sources, you cite yourselves if you want it to, ala Facebook. I don't need to "tag" you, just friggin' "tag" yourselves. Haha! :P

Well, I guess that ends my post. Haha! But wait, just to clarify some things:
1) I never said that my points are the absolute truths. For one, I know for a fact that a lot of them have flaws. I'm too lazy to present it in a formal and intellectual manner. Besides, I always welcome constructive criticisms. So just correct me if you must haha!

2) It just reflects my feelings. I can never write about something without strong feelings for it. I know its not justified, maybe even wrong. But I do not care. Just read it and comment.

3) I'm really frustrated with what I do everyday. I'm a young boy, and I need to act all mature. I really want to be able to play more. True, I could just ignore all these issues. But then again, I hate being brought up in a Catholic manner. Here I am, need to act like I am good bred, I need to feel compassionate towards my fellowmen, and all those stuff. It always gets to me, because no matter what I do, i'd always accepted the fact that all I can play is the role of the nice guy. In the end, I just want to become the hero. Very naive, I know. But very rare in this current society of ours, and I guess, that's all I need.

Have fun to everyone and have a nice day! ^_^

All-Day Telenovela And Showbiz Marathon By Local Networks

These past few days, weeks, or probably months, I have been tuning a lot less on local television channels. Most of the time, the only local shows I watch are Basketball games, like the NBA, UAAP, PBA, and the like. Sometimes I wonder, WTF is Philippine TV so boring? Aside from the lack of variety offered by the local networks (its almost always drama most of the day, heck, even anime is slowly disappearing in mainstream timeslots), I believe that the quality of shows that the local networks are presenting to us are deteriorating with each passing day (our shows primarily consist of local spinoffs and mediocre renditions/versions of foreign telenovelas, "koreanovelas" and "chinovelas" in particular). Well, some people might be satisfied with that kind of quality of television that they get, and I have no objection with that as well. I mean, that's entertainment. If you're entertained, then by all means, its acceptable. However, when it comes to public service and investigative journalism, I believe that is unacceptable.

This week, correct me if i'm wrong, because there might be something wrong with me, but I can't help but think that the "headlines" and "content" of local news shows are somewhat "inappropriate", or to be addressed in a much appropriate word, "shallow", or even "over-emphasized". Why, you ask? Well, let's look into one of the headlines and content that garnered the mainstream media's attention:

1) President GMA and her companions' "exorbitant" food bill.

- Ok, so what's the fuss all about? So the President, along with her companions, ate at a foreign restaurant, and the bill reach a supposed amount equivalent to PHP900,000+. What's the deal? You might say that: Hey, that's a big amount of money, so why isn't it a big deal? You might even say that the money spent for the food bill might even come from taxpayers' money, right? So why isn't it a big deal?

I'll give you some of my main points:

1) How sure are the media people that, indeed, "public" money is spent, and not "private" money?
- Remember, if "public" money is spent, in this case, the "taxpayers" money is spent, then obviously, this would become a public issue, and of course, this certain issue would be relevant to the society. HOWEVER, if "private" money is actually spent, then what's the fuss? Public and private affairs should be treated separately. Even if the President is a public figure, what happens after her work hours, and what she spends using her own private resources, and what others spend on her that doesn't make use of public resources, should not be touched by the media, or rather, should not be focused upon by the media. Remember, let's not get out of my main point. My main point is: the media is over-emphasizing this issue. How or why? Because in some newspapers and even local news shows, this is their headline, when in fact, I don't think this issue is even worthy to become a headliner.

2) Supposing that this issue is a public issue, is the gravity enough to make it a headliner?
- OK, let's assume that the issue is supposedly a "public" issue (the journalists haven't verified yet if indeed public funds are misused, yet they report/make this issue a headline, which I would discuss later on), but is it enough to be the headline of the day, to become the main focal point of scholarly discussion? OK, let's assume that its true that the President and her companions spent an amount equivalent to PHP 900,000. Yeah, I must admit, that's a big, hefty sum of money. Just like the news say and "researched" about, it could probably build about three schools. Yeah, so this is investigative journalism? Of course we'd already figure that much out, that PHP 900,000K is enough to build three schools. Oh, BTW, I don't even think that's investigative journalism, I belive that's basic math/arithmetic. I don't mean to belittle the media, in fact, i'm saying that they're a bit "overqualified" to handle these types of issues, because probably, if you give me a calculator, I might come up with that same computation. I'm just saying, i'm just saying. Moving on...

Here is my main point: Yeah, 900K is a big amount of money. But if we talk about expenditures, shouldn't we focus on the bigger fish? And what fish is that? Well, correct me if i'm wrong, but i'll give you an example: How much do officials actually spent for buying their luxury houses and vehicles? 900k? Higher. 1m? Might be. Any more bidders?! 3... 2... 1... Oh wait, there's more! 3.5m?! 5m?! Any more bidders?! Going, going, gone. SOLD for about PHP 5,000,000! And that's just the tip of the iceberg. True, 900k compared to the 100 peso bill I have in my wallet is a great disparity, but I guess the same goes for 5m and 900k. Jeez, and here I am thinking that 900k is such a big deal. Bummer.

You might say, why the hell am I talking about houses and cars, those are private belongings obtained by private resources, right? Well, if you put it that way, that's right, exactly my point. Public should be separated from the private. Well, if you put it that way, then wouldn't this same point also be applicable to the "dining" expense of the President and her companions? Because if private funds were actually used to pay for the expense, so I ask you once more, what's the issue again? I don't quite get it. I guess that' the problem when you make so much fuss about unverified facts.

Even if it was true, go back to my main point: 900K is weak sh*t compared to other issues involving bigger sums of money. Why the hell is this even a big issue? I'll give you a scenario: you've heard about the chicken and the egg? Let's put it this way, the egg is the 900k dining expense issue, while the chicken is 900k+ issues about corruption, diversion and mismanagement of funds, and other bad practices of governance. Now, given this scenario and possibly taking away the history of which came first, what would you rather hunt first: the chicken, or the egg? Ask me, and i'll tell you i'll hunt the chicken. Why? 'Coz I prefer Fried Chicken more than I prefer Fried Egg. Besides, without going into the history of which came first, one of the things I do know is that: Chickens lay eggs, and if you kill the chicken, production of eggs will stop. Some might say that: if you leave the egg be, it would grow into a chicken, and if there would be more chickens, there would be more eggs. Well, you might be right, but... what's inside the eggshell, we'll never know until it hatches. It might be a chicken, it might even be a dinosaur, or worse, it could be what it is, nothing but an empty eggshell. Why? Because what's inside the eggshell is not yet verified. So that is why i'll hunt the chicken before I hunt the egg: because it is a bigger issue, it is a occuring and undeniable issue, and it could possibly eliminate the existence of lesser issues when adressed.

You might say, aren't there ways of verifying issues? Yeah, there is. One of which is investigative journalism. But this issue is unverified yet, of which I can only come to one conclusion: there is no investigative journalism done regarding this issue. If ever there is, it is a weak or misguided investigation. Which leads me to my last point...

3) Regarding this issue, how was data gathered and verified? Are the sources reliable? Is the data sufficient enough to conclude, or even to have relevance in the society?
- I'm no PRO-GMA, and I admit, i'm a little bit inclined towards the opposition (not sure which is which in the opposition, for they themselves are a heterogenous bunch). But then again, what strikes me in this issue is that, this issue was given so much attention, wherein it might not be an issue to begin with. There's no indication that public funds were used, there's not even a legitimate proof presented, like the true receipt of the dining expense. From what I know, the reference that the media used was a "theoretical" approach, wherein based from the menu of the restaurant, a "theoretical" computation was made of what and how much the president and her companions ate. In fact, from what I know, the media even just ripped off, or to be more appropriate, made reference of that "theoretical" computation from a blog. I mean, where's investigative research there? Using blogs? Well that's cool, since they are harnessing the potential of Information and Computer Technology. However, were the references verified? I think not. They just took that reference and presented it. Poof! Here's the headline for today. Wow, and this is supposed to be the headline? I think this belongs to the "Comics" section. If there's no more space for another comic, then just scrap it. Its not probably even worth the space.

Well, judging from this incident, I have come into a conclusion: All local tv networks can show to us people are nothing but showbiz and telenovela marathons. Why showbiz? Because investigative journalism is replaced by "gossiping", unverified rumors, which is appealing to the public, presented in such a way that it looks like it is relevant to the society. Besides, even if it is an issue, the gravity of the issue may not even be of national concern. Why telenovelas? Because this is what we want: a little drama and emphasis on private realms. Heck, people are social creatures. And what's more interesting for the people than a little bit of issue and gossip? Politicians acting in front of the camera, all while the media captures every moment of this historic event in Philippine Primetime History. Wow. Blair Waldorf, is that you? I didn't know you were interested in journalism! I guess everybody's into the gossip girl fad! Not that its bad, but mind you, this might entail the end of investigative journalism.

Going back to the topic of food, we are what we eat, right? And if the media feeds us all this crap sh*t, then what does that make us? Crap sh*t. If the media is a restaurant, and this crap sh*t is their specialty, what does it make us? Malnourished, misinformed, and misguided Filipino people in terms of social awareness.

Damn, if this is what I will ind in the local news stations every day, i'd rather pick up my remote and turn it off. Its such a waste of electric energy.

I might even sell-off my TV and spend my money for much meaningful objects.

Such as for buying/accquiring nutritious "food".

Because I don't eat crap sh*t for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

I need my daily dose of nutrients, informative nutrients, unlike what the local media feeds me.

And if I can get it from websites and blogs,

Then I guess I have to say goodbye to you, my dear TV.

It was nice knowing you.

Arghh... I don't know how to end this anymore. Sabaw na ako ang haba ng tinype ko.

Anyways, I hope you get my point.

I'm not saying i'm absolutely right.

My point is: this is what I think about that issue...

You can critique me if you want.

I want to learn, so its okay.

As long as its constructive.

But if its crap sh*t...

Go get horned by a Bull on your as*hole or something.

(Intro)

Baby are you down down down down down,
Down, down,
Even if the sky is falling down,
Down, down
Ooh (ohhh)

(Verse 1)

You oughta know, tonight is the night to let it go,
Put on a show, i wanna see how you lose control,

(Bridge)

So leave it behind ’cause we, have a night to get away,
So come on and fly with me, as we make our great escape.

(Chorus)

So baby don’t worry, you are my only,
You won’t be lonely, even if the sky is falling down,
You’ll be my only, no need to worry,
Baby are you down down down down down,
Down, Down,
Baby are you down down down down down,
Down, Down,
Even if the sky is falling down,

(Verse 2)

Just let it be, come on and bring your body next to me,
I’ll take you away, hey, turn this place into our private getaway,

(Bridge)

So leave it behind ’cause we, have a night to get away,
So come on and fly with me, as we make our great escape,

(So why don’t we run away)

(Chorus)

So baby don’t worry, you are my only,
You won’t be lonely, even if the sky is falling down,
You’ll be my only, no need to worry,
Baby are you down down down down down,
Down, Down,
Baby are you down down down down down,
Down, Down,
Even if the sky is falling down,

LiL Wayne
(Verse 3)
Even if the sky is falling down like she supposed to be,
She gets down low for me,
Down like her temperature, ’cause to me she zero degree,
She cold, overfreeze,
I got that girl from overseas,
Now she my miss America,
now can i be her soldier please,
I’m fighting for this girl,
I’m a battlefield of love,
Don’t it look like baby cupid sent his arrows from above,
Don’t you ever leave the side of me,

Indefinitely, not probably,
and honestly im down like the economy, ----> (
Oooh! This lyrics here is dope! Haha! Cool and unique lyrics! I like it! Haha! Hand s down Wayne!)

(Chorus)

So baby don’t worry, you are my only,
You won’t be lonely, even if the sky is falling down,

Baby are you down down down down down,
Down, Down,
Baby are you down down down down down,
Down, Down,
Even if the sky is falling down

The Clash Of The Upper Echelon: The Epic De La Salle - Ateneo Saga Continues

OVERWHELMING. Every De La Salle University (DLSU) vs. Ateneo De Manila University (ADMU) game is always an event to behold. It truly is a gathering of elites: from the various personalities from different fields, up to the finest rising and upcoming Basketball players of our time. The atmosphere is so immense, as the stadium is filled with emotions steadily running high, and with countless voices shouting, screaming, and cheering probably louder than a pimped out ride with maxed out amplifiers and loudspeakers! Oooh! Like I always say, it's the sh*t right here!

Today, both camps have something in common (aside from being Elites): They both wore Yellow T-Shirts as a sign of respect for the deceased Former President Corazon Cojuanco-Aquino. Man, she was really a great person. True, she might have not been the best leader, but to be able to rise up to become a unifying symbol in the country's quest for defeating a dictator, man, that's really something. Granted that she doesn't really have a political background and know-how (aside from Ninoy back then), I guess she put up quite a commendable government. Well, from what i've heard from the commentators, Cory loves to watch UAAP games. Like Bro. Bernie Oca, FSC says, "She watches with us." The commentators, personalities, and people alike, say that this game is for "Tita Cory." Well then, for a person as exceptional as her, she deserves only the best, of course, she deserves the GREATEST BASKETBALL GAME, and of course, she would receive nonetheless, the GREATEST BASKETBALL GAME IN THE PLANET (with probably an exception to Bugs Bunny and Michael Jordan's "Space Jam".) that can only be offered by UAAP's DLSU and ADMU. This game's for you, Tita Cory. I hoped you also had a fun time watching it as we did (I did, at the least. :P).

Of course, I know, you would ask, who won the game? Its Ateneo. Ok, I don't want to talk about it (Bitter? Haha!). The reason why I didn't want to put emphasis on it is because of this: Nothing much to talk about. It was a truly a phenomenal game, in the end, it all boils down to the "Heart". Both teams played with exceptional heart, but only that the other got the best. Infairness to Ateneo, they did pretty well to rally from a deficit, and surviving a late La Salle comeback with two three-pointers to send the game into Overtime. It was such a magnificent display of gallantry, heart, and even heroism (with the exception of the ugly turn of events between Bacon Austria and Freddie Webb that lead to some unsportsmanlike fouls). Just what you would expect from the greatest basketball game in the planet: No matter how great both teams are, one is bound to win, and the other, to lose.

It never ceases to amaze me, and probably never will, of how people, Lasallians, Ateneans, and outsiders alike, put so much emotion and emphasis on this epic event. Years have passed, but the passion, intensity, emotions, and the rivalry, remains the same, if not, intensifies with each passing day. Up to now, its still a mystery to me of how outsiders can actually appreciate and relate to the majesty and splendor of DLSU vs. ADMU games. I wonder: how can people who are not directly involved with the said institutions, with no or little prior knowledge whatsoever with the history of the institutions, let alone the history of the rivalry, be so immersed with the greatness of this event? Now that I look back at it, i'd relate it to this scenario: how could some historians and other Filipino nacionalistas (or whatever you call the Nationalists/Pro-Filipino Culture), be so firm and active about fighting for the so-called "Filipino Culture", wherein we don't actually know or we can't actually define what a "Filipino Culture" is. Weird, huh? Its like we are fighting for something we know nothing about, or something that we don't know if it really exists in the first place! For all we know, it could be just a figment of our imagination or something, right? How could you prove that the Filipino Culture exists? How do we know that the DLSU - ADMU rivalry exists? How can we prove that this great rivalry is significant, and that it exists in our current society?

I remember a session in our TREDFOR class about a related scenario. In class, our prof is actually disproving the existence of a student, and the prof asks the student how she can prove that she actually exists. She said a lot of things (of which some I can't recall clearly), like I have a name, birth certificate, and the like. In the end, it all boiled down to: "I am, therefore I exist." You can never deny the existence of something when it is present right before your eyes. You cannot deny something, even if it doesn't have a clear history whatsoever, if it is occuring right before you.

I think I can say the same for the DLSU - ADMU rivalry. No matter if the people, insiders or outsiders alike, even know about the history of the institutions or the rivalry alone. It is enough to see and feel that this event is actually sweeping the nation, and that its great and majestic existence cannot be denied. Although in a way, it is important to know about the past, we should never forget to put emphasis on the present, and what exists now. DLSU - ADMU rivalry is as real as can be. Someday, people, the future generation in particular, might also wonder about this phenomenal event. Whether or not this epic event will still exist in the future, all I know is one thing: we enjoy this event for the moment, for right now, this great rivalry's existence cannot be denied. No one can deny its greatness, its splendor, its majesty, for this is the REAL SH*T RIGHT HERE. So for all the haters, fakers, and f*ckers alike, all I can say is: go get a life, or go get f*cked by a horse or something. DLSU - ADMU is the greatest rivalry in the UAAP, possibly in the whole world (no joke, i've read an article about it sometime ago about this great rivalry reaching and being compared to other epic events). All I know is that it exists, and I know that its great, even if I don't know why the hell is it great. People have made theories, hypotheses, and the like, but never was there an actual "law". The hell do I care, as long as its existence cannot be denied, then DLSU - ADMU is the REAL SH*T RIGHT HERE.

Minor Game Analysis:

Plus +
> DLSU is actually exceeding my expectations. For a rookie class to get this good at this early stage, it truly is a phenomenal sight to behold. (FEU's current lineup that once boasted promising rookies took 2-3 years before they became a formidable team. DLSU is only taking the first round, so that really is an exceptional performance.) Kudos to Coach Franz Pumaren and their coaching staff, i've seen them train, and mind you, they're doing pretty well.

> Arvie Bringas is the REAL SH*T RIGHT HERE. A big man that can do it all: low post moves up to stretching the defense with long threes. He's also got a decent defensive game and a decent rebounding form. Still a work in progress, yet rapidly becoming a force to reckon with, ala LeBron James.

> (Christian?) Andrada is ALSO THE REAL SH*T RIGHT HERE. Three blocks early in the game, and two coming from Rabeh Al-Hussaini?! Wow! That's got to be something out there, Mr. "Tayshaun Prince" of DLSU. Looks like Rico's departure is minimized with this fella' right here, even if just on the defensive end. Who knows, Rico's departure might work miracles, for the rookie batch has more time to form their chemistry with each other, unlike having a Rico that will clearly consume a playing spot.

> Hyram Bagatsing has really gotten an UPGRADE from the last season. Oooh, I like his tenacity, hustle, and his flashy low-post moves since that game from UST. In this game, he's proved that he's consistent by showing (and scoring in the process) a couple of those moves. He's ala Cholo Villanueva, who came from a bad season to becoming one of the most "trickiest" players that paved way for a DLSU Championship and Finals MVP. Who knows, Hyram might just provide the extra kick to let us reach the Final Four, and hopefully, lock up a Finals position and hopefully face-off with the ADMU Blue Eagles. Hmm, if that's the future, it's something i'm looking forward to. ^_^

> Joshua Webb is PHENOMENAL in this game! I'm at a loss for words. I was really taken aback, seriously. Who would have thought that he could've played a game as great as that (I couldn't, could you?)? 10+ points, 30+ minutes actually well-spent, and with a tenacity and hustle of a heart-driven player? I salute and commend you, sir. ^_^ The swagger is a lil' bit too much, but as a man, I understand how important the swagger is. That doesn't mean that its right though. :P

> Correct me if i'm wrong, but I think Simon Atkins and Bader Malabes was actually good on playing the passing lanes. They were tenacious and hustling for the loose balls. I guess that's great, and every coach would commend a performance such as that. ^_^

Minus -
> Does DLSU have Veteran players? It looked like everyone were rookies. Ugh. An ugly display of performance of the Veteran players (with exceptional moments for some). True, the game wouldn't have been close hadn't been for them, but James Mangahas 0 out of 4 from the field? Others having low-scoring percentage? That's gross. Veterans got to step-up and lead the team, and not be that excessive baggage that will drag the team down on the standings.

> Joshua Webb's unsportsmanlike action/s. Dude, anytime you're up in an emotionally-high game, one of the things you can do to help the team is not to make a stupid mistake such as getting your emotions get the better of you. In short, WTF do you have to kick a player, and this ain't even soccer, suck*r. True, you are the highest pointer of the game, and it would've been a PERFECT performance. That single kick erased it all. Worse, our pride just got marred by that kick. Aw. That's a kick to our faces, if you know what I mean.

I guess that's all. Phew! A truly emotional game indeed! I guess the long post would give you a glimpse of how emotional I was during that game. Well the truth is, I was exaggerating a little bit, but I can't deny I was a bit disappointed and frustrated. But then again, this is what I like about games: It's like a legal World War, or if you want, a Gladiators' War, wherein people just kinda come with their battlesuits and get ready to conquer the nation. It's a war out there, wherein you stake everything, your pride, energy, and year's worth of training all in the line for that glory, fame, and victory. I don't know about you, but if you believe that man has an urge for violence or somehow looking macho, then I guess Basketball games and other Sports is the peaceful way to go. Men love competition, especially physical warfare. Besides, if you believe in the medieval description of man: that he's gotta be macho and everything, then you'd appreciate Basketball more. ^_^

The Rise Of The Dynasty

19 years. Um-teen months, um-teen days, um-teen hours, um-teen minutes, um-teen seconds.

How long will it last? I can only wonder.

Because the only thing constant in this world is change.

So just live and enjoy it for the moment.

"I'm an educated foo' with money on my mind, too much television watching got me chasing dreams." Typical street kid with street dreams, born from the ghetto slums, try'na find his way to the top, so someday, I can tell people and say: I made it from the bottom to the top.

Paper, paper, money, money. Greedy? Not really. Momma' and Poppa' always told me chasing dreams was never bad, as long as you don't step on others to get it. Everyone's got a right to become successful, but don't be sh*t to take it at the expense of others. I dunno about ya'll, but me, I dun wanna do those kinda things. I'm the real sh*t right here. I got my money, but I got my pride as well. Besides, if you'd ask me to chose between pride and money, i'd chose pride, 'coz you can't buy pride with money, the same way you can't buy health with money.

Because money is jus' a friggin' social construct, an institution established in the depths of history. Someday, i'll hope to erase it. Wond'rin what will replace it? I dunno. I might go for socialism and communism for all I care. One thing I do know: money reduces rational human beings to nothing but "consumers and producers."

Yeah, true, everyone has the right to become successful, as long as you don't step on other's pride and dreams.

But haven't we realized one thing? Others dream as well. True, we might not step on others, but sometimes, we also ignore others. Where's the love, pee'po? We ain't autistics, retards, or mentally deranged people to live in our own delusional world. This is the real world. Out there are real people. Get real. Help yo' brotha', love yo' sistah. This is the real world, my brothas' and sistahs'.

How the hell could you eat when others are starving? Could you stomach your food if outside there's people with nothing to eat? I could. It depends. If there's someone out there who can't eat because he's too lazy to work (or to find work), then starve for all I care. Let him go find a d*ck and s*ck it or something. This is the bullsh*t thing about the real world: you can never fully perceive a human's intentions, because....

People who mean to deceive, will always deceive, and get away with it, because their evil intentions are always masked by their deceitful mind.

What's this sh*t, you might ask? Nothing much. Because to sum it up, all i'm try'na say is...

This is me.

This is my life.

This is my sh*t.

Welcome to the dynasty, foo's. ^_^

Sarreh for all the wrong grammar, the expli-sh*t content, and other things that might seem to be too morbid or confusing. Whatever. I'm confused also. That's because when I write, i'm usually spontaneous. Besides, don't act like you don't know or understand what i'm try'na say. I hate social constructs. If you wanna understand what i'm try'na say, use your heart, not your mind.

If not, jus' friggin' get out of my territory.

'Cause if you hit me,

We'll hit you.

^_^ End.
